Summer Dance days for Primary and SEND schools

Creative dance workshops where every child in every class can take part. 

Delivered by our experienced Dancefest in Education team, this day of dance will be wrapped up with sharings of children's choreographies, celebrating their bold, bright and brilliant selves! Choose from local or national celebration weeks, including National Sports week, Wellbeing week and Arts week - or just a day of dance and creativity!

What 

  • Creatively explore a theme through movement, maybe a new sport, interesting artist, or different country.
  • Engage in small team tasks and whole class choreography.
  • Child-centred learning, ensuring every child is given the opportunity to take part.

When

Cost

  • A full day of workshops would cost £300 for one dance leader.
  • For SEND education, we recommend 2 dance leaders, for which we'd charge £500 for the day.
  • If your school is outside Worcester, travel is charged at 45p per mile.

Example timetable

Here’s an example timetable but we’re happy to be led by you on how you shape your day.

  • 9-9.45am - KS1 class (Year 1)
  • 10-11am - KS1 class (Year 2) 
  • 11.15- 12.15pm - KS2 class (Year 3 & 4)
  • 1.15-2.15pm - KS2 class (Year 5)
  • 2.15-3.15pm - KS2 class (Year 6)
  • 3.15-3.30pm - Whole school sharing of choreographies
