Support Us

We aim to inspire a passion for dance, ignite creativity and show that dance makes a difference to people's lives and we can only achieve this through the support of our funders and you, our generous backers.

Dancefest is a charity and we rely on a wide range of support and public donations to continue our work.

A big thank you to our current funders and to everyone who has donated this year.

We appreciate any kind of contribution at any time. Here are some of the ways you can help:

  • We accept donations via givingabit, which allows you to donate as you shop with no additional cost to you.
  • New for 2017, we’re a charity on ebay so if you are selling anything please consider donating a percentage to Dancefest.
  • Donations made on a regular basis (for example by standing order) are particularly appreciated, as they allow us to plan properly for the future.
  • When a Gift Aid declaration is completed on any donation, at no additional cost to you, we can receive an extra 25p for every pound that you give.
  • We also love to hear about ways your company might support us. Last year we received funding from TK Maxx and support in kind from Warndon Worcester Tesco, made possible by employee nominations.

A regular or one off donation however small is gratefully received and will support Dancefest’s continuing contribution to the cultural life of Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

If you work for a business that would like to support the local community you may be able to access support or funding on our behalf.

If you'd like to discuss ways you can support Dancefest with absolutely no pressure to commit, please call 01905 611199 to speak to Melissa, or send an email to

As a registered charity we rely on donations from our supporters. Every donation that is made to us, no matter how large or small, is vital to help us use dance to change people’s lives and develop dance talent of the future.

This is how your donations can help:

  • £5 could pay for sensory props to be used in our access and inclusion work and creative classes for young children from 18 months to 4 years.
  • £10 could pay for room hire in rural Herefordshire for a workshop for 15 young people
  • £50 could support a workshop for disabled children in an SEN setting.
  • £250 could help us to deliver a 6 week project with 20 elderly people in a residential home.
