Silver Arts Award is designed for ages 14 and above, but is open to anyone over 11.

We can support Unit 1 parts A, B, C & D but not Unit 2 through classes, performance and shadowing opportunities.

Unit 1 Parts A & B: arts challenge

  • Young people will be able to take part in practical arts activities to help achieve their arts challenge through taking part in a weekly class, being a member of a youth company

Unit 1 Part C: review arts events

  • Young people will be able to review Dancefest performances and discuss with the director or the Dance Development Team Leader for Young People.

Unit 1 Part D: arts research

  • Young people will be able to find out more about the arts through meeting and/or working alongside arts practitioners by shadowing one of our dance leaders.

If you're doing a Silver Arts Award contact Clare Wood, Dancefest’s Development Team Leader for Young People.
