She has also delivered guest lectures on dance writing for institutions including ArtEZ, Amsterdam University of the Arts, Bratislava Academy of Performing Arts, and Czech Dance News.
Emily's work is rooted in early practical experiences in dance. Originally from Worcestershire, she was a member of Worcestershire Youth Dance Company from 2005–2014 and took part in numerous Dancefest projects, briefly teaching for the organisation after graduating. She is proud to join the board as a way of giving back to her home county and to one of the organisations that first supported her journey in dance. www.emilymay.uk
