A class for children who are already dancing but want to do more. The class will develop creative and technical dance skills, alongside building self-confidence and self-esteem, team work, thinking and appreciation. Led by Clare Wood, Dancefest's Dance Development Team Leader for Young People.
The Gifted and Talented class is part of Dancefest’s youth dance development plan to nurture young dancers and choreographers, potentially over a period of 11 years from joining the class to the age of 18.
Please contact Clare Wood if you'd like to join the group, have any questions or would like to find out more.
Thursday 21 November, 4.50pm outside the Guildhall and 5.05pm in Broad Street
The Gifted and Talented classes are not a replacement for any dance that children may already be doing in school or outside but an opportunity to gain new experience and skill for children who are enthusiastic and motivated.
The weekly sessions are led by Clare Wood, Dancefest’s Development Team Leader for Young People.
Clare has a huge amount of experience working with young dancers including choreographing for W’ire, Worcestershire’s original youth dance company.
