Tai Chi Chuan & Relaxation (18+)

A session to recharge, led by dance artist Enid Gill.

The workshop will start with energy-stimulating exercises on mats, followed by some gentle standing warm-up movements and Qi Gong.

These will prepare you for working with the Tai Chi Chuan Yang Short form, a short karate kata of slow, fluid movements before returning to your mats to finish with relaxation and centering exercises.

The aims of the session are to re-charge yourself while exploring a more efficient and grounded use of your body.

Please bring a camping style mat, cushion for sitting on and a light blanket/shawl for the relaxation. There will be mats available if needed.
