Join Posture Ellie on this 2 hour workshop exploring arguably the most important postural muscles in the body - the Iliapsoas (aka the primary hip flexor)

Notoriously tight and weak in most Westerners (thanks to a lifetime of chair usage), the implications of a dysfunctional Psoas can span the entire body and can even affect other bodily systems outside of the musculoskeletal one.

Lots of people spend too much wasted time trying to stretch out chronically tight hip flexors that don't want to let go (and possibly end up with angrier, tighter hips than they had before).

This workshop first teaches you the basic anatomy and function of the Psoas and the Iliacus, before spending time getting your hip flexors to release and then moving through some gentle stretching and strengthening exercises.

This workshop is extremely gentle and involves a fair amount of lying around waiting for gravity/time to perform magic! It should be appropriate for anyone who feels tight in their hips/lower back but does require the ability to get up and down off the floor.
