infuseDANCE: Bodyguards - Protect and Serve

In June and July infuseDANCE will be working with youth dancersDFA and schools

Co-Director Mark Anderson will be creating work based on their Bodyguards piece, for performance in Worcester city centre on Saturday 21 July - you may have spotted them at Watch Out Worcester last year!

This is a great opportunity to work with Mark to create a short performance for Watch Out Worcester, a free family-friendly event in Worcester city centre, organised by Dancefest. All dancers are welcome, you don’t need lots of experience but you do need energy and willingness to have fun!

infuseDANCE brought their clever and funny dance theatre performance ‘Bodyguards Protect and Serve’ to Worcester last year, and return this year to work with schools, youth groups and DFA to ‘train’ fifty dancing bodyguards to demonstrate their skills in Worcester city centre during the afternoon of Saturday 21 July.

Alongside the trainees, InfuseDANCE will treat audiences to their professional pop up performance, 'Bodyguards - Protect and Serve'. The team of highly trained dancing bodyguards will secure the streets and humorously protect VIP members of the public as they go about their business, escorting them as they travel between shops, guarding them in lifts, helping with bags, protecting on escalators...no-one need fear...the bodyguards are here!
