Reimagine Lockdown Challenge

A creative dance and photography challenge for you to do at home during lockdown - on your own or with your family

Be part of the challenge!

We'd like you to have fun creating photos at home, as you reimagine the rooms and spaces around you.

Your images can be big and bold, small and gentle, inventive, strange, funny, a fragment of your new daily life.

Please post your images on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram, make sure to tag Dancefest and InfuseDANCE and use the hashtags:

#ReimagineLockdownChallenge

or

#ReimagineLockdown

Search using the hashtags to find all the other photos to give you ideas and inspiration - and check out just some of the images below!

Thank you so much to everyone who’s already started making photos for the challenge.

Please keep creating and sharing!

Why Reimagine?

Reimagine Worcester began last year, when Mark and Esther Anderson from infuseDANCE worked alongside Dancefest with people of all ages, to reimagine Worcester’s buildings and spaces through dance and photography. The images they created were to become a large scale photographic exhibition, which was due to happen in Worcester city centre this summer.

And then Lockdown happened!

As a response to the COVID-19 pandemic and the very different world we've all found ourselves in, we've come up with the Reimagine Lockdown Challenge! - and you can be anywhere in the world, you don't need to be in Worcester to take part!

It's hoped that some of the images from the challenge will be part of the final exhibition, which is now planned to take place this autumn.
