Worcestershire Dancing

Wednesday 3 July, 7pm, Artrix, Slideslow Drive, Bromsgrove, B60 1GN

Tickets £8.50, £6 concessions, family ticket £20

Now in its sixth year, this performance celebrates the excellence of dance taking place in education across the county.

Schools and colleges throughout Worcestershire were invited to apply, and the work you see will be a vibrant mix of dance in a range of styles, that represents creativity, progression and quality.

It includes imaginative and inventive dance from children in primary schools, and performances that show the technical and choreographic skills of students in secondary and further education.

Worcestershire Dancing builds on Dancefest’s work in education throughout the year by providing the opportunity for dancers to share their work with an audience in a professional theatre.

Worcestershire Dancing takes place at Artrix and tickets will be available from their box office soon on 01527 577330 and at artrix.co.uk

The performance is the culmination of a year that has included ten Dancefest and School Games dance in education festivals, with over 2,000 children and young people taking part and watching each other in an informal setting.

Worcestershire Dancing builds on the work done in these festivals by providing the opportunity to perform in a professional theatre to a public audience.
