Big Dance Picnic

Saturday 8 July, 12 noon
Cripplegate Park, Tybridge St, Worcester WR2 5BA

Bring a picnic and a blanket to this fun afternoon of dance and music, with performances by over 200 children who come to Dancefest's weekly dance classes.

There will be fun activities for the whole family to enjoy - and look out for our specially made dance yurt where Jigsaw Integrated Performance Group from Hereford will be performing a dance based on caterpillars transforming into butterflies.

They’re joined by Herefordshire’s Bandemonium, a community music organisation led by Rob Strawson, Director of The Music Pool.

This event is dependent on good weather so please check our Facebook and Twitter pages on the day to make sure it's going ahead.

Here's a video of Ronkswood Dance Club, just one of the groups performing on the day.

PRS for Music licences the use of copyright music across the UK, giving businesses and organisations the legal permission they need to play the music they want.

These licences ensure that music publishers, songwriters and composers are fairly rewarded with royalties so they can keep making music - and mean that we’re able to support music at events like this.
