Performance groups and companies

We have a range of community performance companies for all ages, including an inclusive company

DFA (Dancefest Adults) (18+)
Sundays, 10am-1pm, 1, 15, 29 October, 12, 26 November The Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester WR1 3QN Performances Saturday 2 December and Thursday 21 December DFA has been created for people with further dance training or dance teaching experience. The company works on a project by project basis. This autumn they’ll be creating performances for Worcester Victorian Fayre and Friends of Fort Royal Winter Solstice celebration.

Chance to Dance Company (50+)
Sundays, 10am-1pm, 24 September, 8, 22 October, 5,19, 26 November The Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester WR1 3QN Performances Saturday 2 December and Thursday 21 December. A company for experienced dancers aged 50 and over, who like to create, experiment and have a passion to perform. There are lots of projects planned for the year ahead, starting with performances for Worcester Victorian Fayre and Friends of Fort Royal Winter Solstice celebration.

Elevate Junior Youth Dance Company (10-13)
A junior youth dance company for Herefordshire that meets on Mondays at 4-5pm at Hereford College of Arts, College Road Campus, Hereford, HR1 1EB

Elevate Youth Dance Company (14+)
Elevate is a contemporary youth dance company for Herefordshire-based dancers aged 14+. It meets on Mondays, 5-6.45pm, Hereford College of Arts, College Road Campus, Hereford, HR1 1EB

Jigsaw Performance Company (16+)
Wednesdays, 4.30-6.30pm, Aspire Community Hub, Hereford, HR1 2EA. An integrated dance group for disabled and non-disabled dancers with regular chances to perform.

Gifted and Talented (7-10)

Thursdays, 4.15-5.15pm, Dancefest, The Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester, WR1 3QN. A new class for 7-10 year olds who are already dancing but want to do more. The class will develop creative and technical dance skills, alongside building self confidence and self esteem, team work, thinking and appreciation.

Worcestershire Junior Youth Dance Company (11-14)
We'll be auditioning dancers over the next few months for our new performance company created by Dancefest for enthusiastic, creative dancers to develop technical and performance skills.
