Our autumn classes on Zoom Monday 14 September - Wednesday 21 October (6 weeks)

Chance to Dance (55+), 11am-11.45am, live on Zoom with Marie Oldaker, Tuesday 15, 22, 29 September, 6, 13, 20 October

These classes are aimed at men and women and are relaxed, fun and upbeat classes for people of all abilities.

They include exercises to improve balance, co-ordination and posture as well as dance routines which touch on different dance styles, and are fun and easy to follow.

The cost of this block of 6 classes is £24

Gentle Chance to Dance seated (55+) with Marie Oldaker, 12 noon-12.45pm, Wednesday 16, 23, 30 September, 7, 14, 21 October

In partnership with The Swan Theatre, Worcester

A dance class for anyone living with a disability or long term health condition, or who would prefer a gentler approach to keeping healthy. The class usually takes place seated but you can take part standing if you'd like to.

Suitable for people living with Parkinson’s, recovering from a Stroke, hip or knee operation, people who are wheelchair users or have limited mobility. Partners, careres and family can to join in with you too.

The cost of this block of 6 classes is £24

Jigsaw Performance Company (16+) with Enid Gill, 5pm-5.45pm, Wednesday 16, 23, 30 September, 7, 14, 21 October

Our inclusive dance company for disabled and non-disabled dancers will be meeting online this term, with a series of creative dance sessions and the chance to make videos and come up with new dance ideas. These sessions are led by Enid Gill.

The cost of this block of 6 classes is £24

Contemporary Technique - 6 weeks - 15 Sept-20 Oct - on Zoom

The basics of contemporary technique, using energetic and dynamic sequences to develop flexibility, strength and dance skills. This class is taught by Clare Wood.

7-8pm, Tuesdays, £30 for 6 weeks

Youth Dance - 6 weeks - 16 Sept-21 Oct - on Zoom

Classes that fuse contemporary technique and creative work to develop choreographic and performance skills. Regular performance opportunities.

Exercises and sequences to enhance contemporary technique and develop skills. Perfect for people studying dance at GCSE level or similar. DFY is taught by Elizabeth Crosswell and Clare Wood. 

5-6pm, Wednesdays £30 for 6 weeks

Gifted and Talented - 6 weeks - 17 Sept-22 Oct - on Zoom

These classes will take place on Zoom and outdoors in Worcester Email clare@dancefest.co.uk for full details

A class for children who are already dancing but want to do more. The class will develop creative and technical dance skills, alongside building self confidence and self esteem, team work, thinking and appreciation.
