Reimagine Worcester Education Project

A photography and movement project for 7-18 year olds

Available in the second half of the spring term 2020

Culminating in a large scale photographic exhibition in Worcester's city centre, Reimagine Worcester is a fantastic opportunity for your pupils to consider Worcester’s iconic and ordinary buildings and spaces and through dance reimagine their use.

Professional choreographer and photographer Mark Anderson from infuseDANCE company will work with your pupils to develop a series of thought provoking dance images for Reimagine Worcester - celebrating the city and how young people use it.

Photographs will be part of a trail of images through Worcester with dancers from all ages and abilities. Images to be displayed in 30 locations across the city centre throughout the month of July as well as a digital gallery of images.

Time

5 half day workshops - three in school and two in different locations (one of these locations chosen by Dancefest and infuseDANCE and one chosen by the group - a space they use currently outside of school)
