Lauren Trim

Lauren graduated with a first class honours in contemporary dance from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2015.

Since graduating Lauren has worked with Dancefest on the Vista project as well as assisting with community classes in Worcester. She now works as a freelance dance teacher for Dancefest, leading community dance clubs throughout Worcester.

Lauren has a keen interest in interdisciplinary and improvised movement; working with artists such as Kei Miyata and Ben Duke as well as leading site specific projects in and around Leeds. Throughout her training Lauren also developed a deep interest in release techniques as well as somatic practices with this having a large influence throughout her training and beyond.

Lauren is excited to be working for Dancefest; a company with such a positive and accessible approach to dance.
