We run weekly dance classes for children, young people and adults throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire, in Contemporary, Street, Breakdance and Choreography. Check out our timetable or browse the brochure. We work in a variety of community and arts venues
We also offer regular one-off workshops in a variety of dance styles for both new and experienced dancers.
See our class descriptions to tell you a little more about each kind of class.

Dancefest offers many opportunities for young dancers, both after school and within the curriculum, providing information on progression routes, choreographic platforms, and resources.
We work with schools, colleges and in higher education throughout the region and provide networking, support and CPD opportunities for teachers.
You can also achieve your Arts Award with Dancefest.
We recommend you contact Dancefest before joining a new class to check availability and times. If you are new and trying a class for the first time or are in receipt of benefits, you can pay weekly but for everyone else, please pay for a block of 6 or 12 sessions at or before the first class.
Phone: 01905 611199
In person: Dancefest office at The Angel Centre, Worcester, WR1 3QN (office hours are usually 10am-6pm Monday-Friday with extended hours for special events)
You can pay by card over the phone or in the office, online via PayPal and by cash or cheque made payable to Dancefest Ltd at a class.
If you know, before the start of term, that there are some sessions you can't make, we're happy to negotiate a termly price.
Concessions apply to children, students in full time education and people in receipt of benefits.
Refunds can only be given when Dancefest cancels a class or when a participant withdraws from a class before the first session (a 10% administration fee will be charged). All other requests for refunds will be at the discretion of the Manager and will only be considered in exceptional circumstances. Dancefest reserves the right to cancel any class that does not meet minimum numbers.
When you’re taking part in our classes, to keep you safe while you dance and to let you move easily, we recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and, if you have long hair, that you tie it back.
Tracksuit bottoms or leggings and a t-shirt are ideal for most classes (school uniform, dresses, skirts and tights are not really suitable to dance in). You’ll usually dance in bare feet but for urban classes please wear trainers.
All classes are open to anyone except advanced classes, which require previous dance experience.
Due to the physical nature of the classes if you have any problems relevant to participation please check with your doctor. Dance workers cannot advise on health problems, but please inform them, in confidence, of any problems you may have.
We currently run weekly dance classes and lessons for adults, children and young people in Worcester, Hereford, Malvern, Rock, Ross-on-Wye, Wigmore, Areley Kings and Tenbury.
In the past 12 months we have also run workshops and projects for arts and community organisations throughout the region, including Bromsgrove, Birmingham, Redditch, Stourport, Pershore, Leominster and Honeybourne.
