Autumn term starts on 15 September

We run weekly classes and workshops for all ages across Herefordshire and Worcestershire and new dancers are always welcome.

We offer a wide range of work for all Key Stages and further and higher education. We also offer CPD for teachers through the Worcestershire Dance Teachers network.

Arts Award
Dancefest is an Arts Award Centre. Young people can use our classes, workshops and performances to help them gain an Arts Award.


Dance projects to take part in and watch

There are regular opportunities for dancers of all ages to take part and perform in a whole range of projects. and for audiences to see great dance on their doorstep.

Day of dance for boys and young men
Led by David McKenna of Beingfrank Physical Theatre Sunday 12 October, 11.00am-3.00pm, The Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester WR1 3QN. We've invited David to lead this day to relight the fire, get physical, be creative and burn energy.

Tenbury Mistletoe Festival performance project
Sundays 19 October, 9, 16 and 30 November, 10.00am-1.00pm The Angel Centre, Angel Place, Worcester WR1 3QN, plus the performance day on Saturday 6 December in Tenbury. DFA (Dancefest Adults) was created for experienced dancers looking to devise, develop and perform new work.

Local venues in the region let us know what dance they have coming up and we collect in a diary - and we get regular special ticket offers.

Quiet Revolution
A free promenade performance by Dancefest groups DFA, Dancefest Creatives and Rock Chance to Dance that explores the changes to the lives of women during World War One.
