Thousands of people have had the chance to get involved in dance in their communities, in care homes, youth centres, toddler groups and many other settings.

The Dance Squads have been active across the county, taking in the Worcester, Bromsgrove, Malvern Hills, Wyre Forest, Redditch and Wychavon districts.

From babies to the elderly and everyone in between, dance can enrich lives. This poem was written by a 12 Moves participant, based in a Redditch care home:

“The duet of delightful dancers;

Visiting Saltways, our home,

Helping us with exercises,

As we’re not able to roam.

The beauty that brings

 Is so pleasing.

They are so attractive to see.

My friends you know I’m not teasing.

So please now applaud them with me.”
