Dancefest exists to enable anyone to experience the joy of dance. In our eyes everyone is a dancer, regardless of age, ability or experience.
Our new Chance to Dance Company is for experienced dancers aged 50+.
Wednesday 30 November, 6.30-8pm
Aspire Community Hub, Canal Road, Hereford, HR1 2EA
Dancefest is hosting a network event bringing together people who work with a range of ages and abilities, to discuss ways we can work together and be more inclusive.
We support young people to get into dance, helping develop skills and confidence, and providing opportunities to perform. Previous youth company members have gone on to train at Trinity Laban and Northern School of Contemporary Dance and are now working as professional dancers and choreographers.
Helen Stallard, the Chair of Dancefest’s board, has been talking to people who come (or used to come) to our classes, to celebrate their achievements and also help other people see how they can get involved with Dancefest.
