Education

We offer a wide range of work for all Key Stages, and in Further and Higher Education, from one off sessions to longer projects and performances, throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire.

We also run INSET training and Continuing Professional Development sessions for teachers.

We've just produced Impulse to Move, Dancefest’s menu of workshops and projects for schools and colleges. Much of what is contained in the menu is based on work that has been successfully tried and tested. From a one-off workshop to sustained input, Dancefest can offer a high quality experience for both pupils and staff. We can make a bespoke project for you or use sessions within the menu.

For more information and to discuss your project in more detail, please contact

Dancefest is working with Worcestershire Dance Teachers to continue to develop the work of the WDTA.

Dancefest have been working with us for several years now. Their performances provide inspiration to both the boys and girls. Their well organised and stimulating workshops keep pupils of all ages and abilities engaged and achieving.”
Jackie Langer, Earl Mortimer College, Leominster

"It was fantastic to be able to interpret a story into a dance - with our own ideas. It's not just a 'girlie' thing and that's important!"
Year 5 pupil

"I have seen our children grow in confidence - and feel quite comfortable with performing in front of others. They always have fun and are totally engaged - and that's vitally important."
Vicky Hancock, Headteacher, Shobdon Primary School
