We run weekly dance classes for children, young people and adults throughout Herefordshire and Worcestershire, in Contemporary, Street, Breakdance and Choreography. Check out our timetable or browse the brochure. We work in a variety of community and arts venues

We also offer regular one-off workshops in a variety of dance styles for both new and experienced dancers.

Youth dance, education and CPD for dance teachers

Dancefest offers many opportunities for young dancers, both after school and within the curriculum, providing information on progression routes, choreographic platforms, and resources.

We work with schools, colleges and in higher education throughout the region and provide networking, support and CPD opportunities for teachers.

Visit the youth dance, education and Worcestershire Dance Teachers sections for more information.

How to book and what to wear

Booking: We recommend you contact Dancefest before joining a new class to check availability and times. We'll just need your name and contact number to book you a place.

Payment: We can take payment online, by credit or debit card (by phone or in person at the Dancefest office), in cash or cheque. Cheques should be made payable to Dancefest Ltd.

Any refunds will incur a 10% administration charge. If you pay for the term for 2 or more classes (or 2 members of the same family) you get 10% off the total cost.

Concessions: apply to children, students in full time education and people in receipt of benefits.

What to wear: comfortable clothes that you can move in easily. Tracksuit bottoms/leggings and a t-shirt are suitable for most classes.

Footwear: for most classes no shoes are necessary. For Street and Breakdance please wear trainers.

All classes are open to anyone except Improvers and Advanced classes, which require previous dance experience.

Due to the physical nature of the classes if you have any problems relevant to participation please check with your doctor. Dance workers cannot advise on health problems, but please inform them, in confidence, of any problems you may have.
